Director, Michael's House Outpatient Center

Paul d’Entremont

Born and raised just south of Boston, Paul d’Entremont earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Bryant University in Rhode Island. Following graduation, he served as a staff accountant for Arthur D. Little for two years before relocating to Southern California. There he had a long career in publishing, acquiring titles and eventually serving as the publisher of Seattle Magazine. He also launched a bookkeeping business management company.

His own experience with addiction introduced him firsthand to the field of treatment and recovery. He had every intention of returning to the corporate world, but his love of helping people led him in a new direction. In 2010, he took his first job as a sober living house manager in Palm Springs.

Paul began his career with Michael’s House as an outpatient counselor and was quickly promoted to patient care coordinator with a sole focus on aftercare. He later served as the business office manager before becoming director of outpatient services in December 2014. His current position includes nurturing relationships inside Michael’s House as well as within the community beyond those walls. Paul has also been certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) since joining Michael’s House, and he co-facilitates adventure outings where life skills are taught and addressed. “Working with the patients and staff at Michael’s House has contributed to this being the most fulfilling and rewarding experience of my career,” he says.
