Donnie came to Michael’s House in November 2009 as a residential counselor. During his time working with our residents, he became interested and involved in the family program and worked directly with Alan Massey as well as our former CEO, Dr. Alan Downs. Through his time with our clients, he also became an integral part in our residents’ early recovery and showed his talents with customer care. After promotion to a lead counselor, he eventually became involved in client care and has recently been promoted to client care coordinator. He is highly motivated to help our patients transition from inpatient treatment to living a healthy and productive life.

Donnie has 30 plus years of customer care experience as well as management experience, which is an asset to his current position. He is currently pursuing a degree in behavior science and has graduated from a two year program in alcohol and drug counseling through College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA. In his spare time, he enjoys RV camping and touring the great state of California. Donnie is also in recovery.
