Elizabeth Giner
Client Care Coordinator

Elizabeth came to Michael’s House in 2009 as a residential counselor and quickly moved into the admissions department. In 2011, she accepted a position as client care coordinator, and she is located at Michael’s House Women’s Center. Her expertise and experience in case management with clients reaches far back to working with the homeless on Skid Row and working with the SASCA Department of Corrections through state-funded social model treatment centers in the Coachella Valley. Her desire has contributed greatly to the lives of clients. Her passion to work with women in recovery stems from life circumstances; she was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and has made Palm Springs her home for the past three years. Her studies continue in the addiction field as a psychology major with a minor in sociology. She is currently a student at the College of the Desert and is transferring to the University of San Bernardino in the spring of 2013. Elizabeth is a certified addiction specialist and member of the National Hispanic Business Women Association, as well as an active member in Narcotics Anonymous. She believes “service is the strongest foundation in building blocks to recovery.”
