Juan C. Perez, Psy.D.
Primary Therapist

Dr. Juan C. Perez is a licensed clinical psychologist who obtained his doctorate of psychology (Psy.D.) at Pepperdine University. Dr. Perez has specialized training and experience in the areas of neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology. In particular, his training and experience involves understanding how psychological and psycho-social difficulties develop in the brain or result from brain injuries. He has well over 20 years of experience at various hospitals and outpatient clinics, working with individuals who suffered traumatic physical and psychological injuries. After his own personal and spiritual journey in recovery, Dr. Perez then spent 10 years working in the streets of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. He has worked extensively with the chronically homeless and Dual Diagnosis population of the area, developing one of the first Dual Diagnoses for the homeless.

Juan is bilingual and bicultural, and he is also interested in how culture influences our behaviors.
