Linda Santiago began her studies in the sciences at Los Angeles Mission College and went on to obtain her nursing license from Concorde College. Her clinical practice experiences have included caring for patients living with various medical conditions in critical care, intermediate care, medical, surgical and community-based settings, as well as experience with patients having mental health disorders. Linda has always been passionate about helping others and enjoys working with people. While in college, Linda volunteered at a crisis hotline center answering calls from those in need. She has always been of service to her community in various ways.
In 2011, Linda began her employment at Michael’s House and is now lead nurse of the Women’s Center. Being in this position has afforded her the special opportunity to work in a closer capacity with patients, to provide more one-on-one time, and to help to provide better quality care. Linda has special training in MI and DBT and is a registered drug and alcohol trainee. She facilitates psychoeducational groups and helps patients gain the tools they need to stay clean and sober. For Linda, helping people to change their lives is an amazing and rewarding experience.
