Lorraine Little, CATC-III, CPT, WFR, serves as a clinical assistant, fitness trainer and wilderness team member with the Michael’s House Women’s Center. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in health sciences from California State University in Long Beach, she went on to earn certifications as a health education specialist, personal trainer, certified addition treatment counselor, wilderness first responder and anger management facilitator. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work from the University of New England.
Lorraine joined the Michael’s House team in 2013 and since then has received additional training in Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Her background in the hospitality industry has also helped her develop skills to manage the variety of hats that she wears in her role at Michael’s House.
As a passionate woman in recovery, Lorraine chose to work in the addiction treatment field in order to answer her true calling. She remains an avid fitness buff and spends her free time exploring her connection with nature.
