Monica Patino graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Chapman University and a M.A. in counseling psychology from Argosy University. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate of education in counseling psychology from Argosy University to enhance her existing experience, which includes completing a practicum at Operation Safe House, working with at-risk youth and a year of work at the local mental health hospital.

Monica began working with Michael’s House as a residential counselor in 2013 and accepted a therapist position following graduation in 2014. She says that working with individuals during Stabilization has been a rewarding experience, and she is happy to be able to offer a warm welcoming to patients in those critical early days of treatment. To be able to make a difference, one person at a time, has been her life’s goal.
