Teresa Miller is a Primary Therapist at the Michael’s House residential treatment program. Her previous experience includes working at an inpatient psychiatric facility treating mental health disorders as well as substance dependency issues. She has also provided individual and family therapy services in a community health center. Teresa has worked with diverse populations, including adolescent boys suffering from abuse and neglect, clients with severe mental health disorders, elders and their caregivers, survivors of trauma, and individuals with substance abuse issues. Prior to joining the residential treatment team, Teresa worked as a therapist at Michael’s House Intensive Outpatient Program.
Teresa has a strong client-centered approach to treatment, and strives to meet each client where they are at. She provides empathic therapy while working with clients to address dual diagnosis issues. Teresa finds fulfillment in working with clients to foster empowerment, gain insight, and achieve personal growth in their recovery.
