At Michael's’ House, we offer two comprehensive alcohol rehab and drug rehab programs - primary drug rehab and extended care - to assist our clients in achieving lasting sobriety. Each of our new clients participates in a medical and mental health screening by our staff physician, a clinical therapist and a psychiatrist. These screenings help you and your therapist design a unique drug rehabilitation plan that reflects the needs identified during this evaluation process. A drug rehab plan identifies specific challenges you and your therapist believe should be addressed during your stay at Michael's House, while it also provides a tool for measuring progress.
Every individual seeking Treatment for Mental Health Issues and Drug Abuse and Alcohol Abuse goes through our admission assessment. As part of the assessment at Michael's house you will be seen by our medical staff for a full and comprehensive history of your alcohol abuse and drug abuse and the length of time and quantity of your usage, as well as a physical examination. If you are dealing with addiction treatment and other disorders such as depression and or anxiety we will have you sign a release of information for us to receive records from your treating physician.
