Belinda Langager, CADC II
Belinda Langager joined the FRN team at Michael’s House in March of 2015. She was born and raised in Norco, California, but gained her certification through the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division of the State of Hawaii. Langager is an internationally certified alcohol drug counselor.
She began her career in the dual diagnosis field in 2006 in Hawaii at the Big Island Substance Abuse Council. There, she worked with adolescents in a school-based program focused on early prevention and intervention of high-risk youth. Langager then transitioned to the Pregnant Parenting Women and Children Therapeutic Living Program. She then advanced to the position of supervisor and worked with the child welfare service to reintegrate mothers with their children through the system of court. She later became the leader of the therapeutic living programs and she also managed a men’s therapeutic living program, two sober living homes, one for men the other for women and children. During that time, Langager also worked with the drug court.
Her personal story of recovery drew her to behavioral healthcare, she’s proud to be part of a solution and also to show others how her whole life changed with sobriety. She’s passionate about planting seeds of hope with the extraordinary, patient-centered care Michael’s House provides, as well as its wraparound services and continuum of care.
When she’s not working, Langager loves spending time with her husband and their chihuahuas and boating in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
