Monica Patino-Ayala, AMFT
Joining the team in 2013, Monica Patino-Ayala serves as the clinical manager of the Women’s Program at the Michael’s House Treatment Center. She’s an assistant marriage and family therapist who completed her Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Argosy University. Raised in Indio, California, her background includes social work in a mental health hospital as well being a family therapist at an at-risk youth shelter setting.
After seeing family members deal with addiction issues, Patino-Ayala has witnessed firsthand how recovery is a gift for both the individual and families. Her passion is fueled by success stories through the Michael’s House alumni program, The Life Challenge, and knowing that the team always has the patient’s best interests at heart.
Patino-Ayalao is married with two children, and when she’s not working, you can find her spending time with her family outdoors and watching reality and crime television shows.
